Fortune always comes in disguise. If you recognize it, it will change your life forever and if you don't it will keep eluding you the rest of your life. It was during the making of 'Do Raste' that a young boy waited outside the vanity van of famous heroine Mumtaz. He was an assistant of director Raj Khosla and was deputed to bring Mumtaz to the sets once the shot was ready. The boy later went on to become one of the most sought after director of Hindi Cinema and nowadays gives break to many new talents. His name is Mahesh Bhatt. He introduces Shriya and Mrinalini to Hindi cinema in 'Aawarapan' and also gives a new lease of life to Emraan Hashmi who for sure would be taken seriously after this film.

His kisser boy image has done lots of damage to him, but for the first time he does something that he can be proud of - intense acting. You can also see Shaad (nephew of Mumtaz) who got his first chance of acting in 'Woh Lamhe' courtesy Mumtaz who just mentioned his name to Mahesh Bhatt and then he came to Vishesh Films for the shooting of his first film.

Aawarapan' was initially supposed to be an autobiographical film from Mahesh Bhatt's bastion, but seeing the film it does not seem to be so. This is a typical masala film from Hindi cinema but it is the treatment of the story that leaves you spellbound. The story of 'Aawarapan' may not offer you something very extraordinary but Mohit Suri does make it a treat to watch. The canvas that he has chosen to depict a story of mistrust, betrayal and search for love, leaves you on a very different level. Mohit Suri is indeed making his presence felt very fast. He has established himself as a director to watch out for.

Amitabh Bachchan has walk out from director Soojit Sircar's film 'Johnny Walker', a mature love story. The story of a film is based on a life if a man, Johnny Walker, right from adolescence to old age, especially concentrating on his 25 years of married life. Vidya Balan was supposed to play opposite Big B. Earlier, he liked the script and wanted to co-produce the film, but Production Company failed to let go of the reins. So, Big B decided not to do the film and return the cheque. The CEO of production company, Preet Bedi explains, "We wanted to close our accounts in the last financial year, and we asked Mr. Bachchan of he could do the film. However, he politely expressed his inability to spare the dates and returned the cheque. I'm afraid there is no controversy here." Bedi also assure that they will definitely make the film.

Himesh Reshammiya is again in controversy for his recent visit at Ajmer Sharif in burqa. He went there to pray for the success of his debut film 'Aap Ka Surroor'. He had kept a mannat and needed to enter the dargah. But his fans made it impossible for him. A huge crowd waiting for him by the time he reached there. He says, "I was suggested to wear a burqa. However, if I've hurt anyone's sentiments, I sincerely apologies for that. I've decided that I will not make any controversial statement."

The Himesh Reshammiya starrer, 'Aap Kaa Surror', shattered many a records on its opening day. Its collections ( that are still to be disclosed) on Friday ( June 29) took not just the film industry but the entire nation by storm! In centres of Uttar Pradesh, exhibitors rejoiced, as they had to dig out their house-full boards for display after years!

In a city like Jodhpur Rajasthan, the morning( 9 a.m.) show of 'Aap Ka Surroor' was an earthshattering; Rs.74,000! As against its Rs.74,000, the morning show of 'Apne' in Jodhpur was just Rs.10,000.

Whether it was C.P. Berar or C.I, Nizam or Bihar, Delhi-U.P or Maharashtra, the story was same everywhere.
